FLEGT Technical Working Group (TWG) Meeting

The main objectives of the Meeting are to achieve the following:

1. A first structure of the Timber Legality Definition (TLD) with Principles is agreed
2. The draft of TLD of the Thematic Expert Group on Log landing 1 to 3 in production forest is presented and commented
3. The scope of the FLEGT/VPA negotiation regarding product, market destination and timber sources are discussed and a first draft is agreed
4. The results of the study of supply chain control and verification procedures for log landing 1 to 3 are presented and discussed
