Lao delegation joins the 8th Regional TLA Workshop

From 6th to 8th December a delegation from Laos represented by MAF, MOIC, Private Sector and Civil Society join the 8th Regional Workshop on Timber Legality Assurance in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam. During the workshop Laos shared their achievements and experiences with the development of the Lao TLAS with other ASEAN member states. Lao reconfirmed it’s commitment to timber legality and the continuation of the FLEGT-VPA process with the EU. The workshop is enhancing the regional cooperation and technical exchange among ASEAN member states on the subject of legality assurance and contributes to the implementation of the FLEG workplan in ASEAN 2016-2025.
